As far as I can remember I don't remember seeing it because I was out in the yard all the time that was going on, and I don't believe the TV was on.

Before you saw the man in the lineup were you shown a picture of any man by a police officer?

I don't really know. I couldn't be quite sure. I can't remember whether I did or not.

We take an afternoon paper, we took an afternoon paper then.

Do you recall whether or not you did see a picture in the paper of the man?
Mrs. Davis.
I don't remember. I don't even remember whether I read it or not. There was so much excitement.

When the man ran over the lawn, can you give me an estimate of how far away he was from you?

I can't.
